The Baskethead is a minor swordsman that Afro often faces. This is a mere type of opponent as Afro will face more than one at one time on occasions.
History[]
Afro Samurai: Resurrection[]
In the start of Afro Samurai Resurrection, Afro is now trying to live the rest of his life without having to fight numerous swordsman. In order to delay the inevitable he disguises himself as a Baskethead. However due to his oversized basket two fencers could easily tell who he was. This could also be due to the fact that he, his father and the DJ are the only seen African American people throughout the show, making him very easy to spot.

This type of enemy is seen in the Afro Samurai- video game. This enemy is usually fought outside.
